There comes a time when life feels lost, and every fiber of my being is tossed.
You feel this pain when it all starts to end, but you’re also losing a friend.
You lose yourself in the process of love, thinking they were sent from above.
Then you find out they never were. They were there to teach you why you’re here.

You won’t find someone to make you feel whole.
You are the biggest piece of your soul.
You become this empty shell of a being,
Wishing life wasn’t so fleeting.

You wake up every day feeling numb,
Wishing life wasn’t so dumb.
But still, you keep pushing through,
Only to find a piece of you.

But just when you start to heal,
You lose yourself again to something that doesn’t feel real.
Back to the love that already walked away,
Yet somehow it still ruins your day.

To feel more pain and suffering again,
When all you ever wanted was a friend.
A friend to hold you and tell you they care,
Someone to say they will always be there.

But you wake up again feeling all alone,
Never finding a place to call home.
You just wake to keep breaking all over again,
Because you will never truly find a friend.

Someone you can trust with your heart,
Someone you know was there from the start.
The start of your life feels like the end of you,
Because to find the strength, you have to learn to be true.

Be true to the pain that you know you feel.
The physical pain feels so surreal.
The ripping of your heart, the tearing of the strings—
No matter what I do, it always stings.

It stabs, it rips, it shreds you apart,
Until you have nothing left of a heart.
A heart that will never be whole again,

The pain of losing the one you truly love

So I have been struggling with crippling panic attacks these last two weeks and I don’t take meds or anything so I called the drs at urgent care today because last night I was having shooting pains and my arm was going numb. Falling in Love with Myself

For so long, I looked for love outside of me—hoping someone would see my worth, cherish me, and make me feel whole. But the truth is, no one can give me the love I truly need except me.
